Bathers’ Pavilion
Restaurant & Kiosk Balmoral NSWPerched majestically on Sydney’s Balmoral Beach, the revitalised 1920’s Spanish Mission-style building works a highly sociable Med-luxe vibe with gentrified ease. Rounded edges, shimmers of silver and intricate geometric motifs link the fluid drinking and dining spaces including a lounge bar, all-day bistro, raised chef’s table for 12, formal dining area and kiosk on the ground floor with a refined retro flair. Subtle nautical references float throughout via considered appropriations of luxury cruise ship elements including: maritime blue stripes, tubular stainless steel handrails leading to the function spaces aloft, cushions tethered to banquettes like fenders and decking elements incorporated into sound absorbing feature ceilings. Contemporary artworks by seminal Australian artists frame the renowned venue with an emotively sophisticated undercurrent
